  • Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out by 11:00 am. If you require an early arrival or late departure, please let us know when booking.

  • Yes, free on-site parking is available for all guests during their stay. Walkers on long-distance trails are also welcome to leave cars while completing their route.

  • Rooms are on the first floor, and due to the historic nature of the building, there is no lift. Our team will gladly assist with luggage, but the rooms may not suit guests with very limited mobility.

  • We offer two dining experiences: an Italian restaurant serving pizza and pasta from 4 pm–9 pm, and a traditional bar-restaurant with Scottish dishes and local drinks.

  • Yes, advance reservations are recommended for weekends, tasting menus and special occasions.

  • Yes, the Inn sits on the John Muir Way and is close to Milngavie, the start of the West Highland Way. Free parking and baggage pick-up are available for walkers.

  • Regular bus services run to nearby Milngavie, where trains connect directly into Glasgow and across Scotland.

  • Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Inn. Well-behaved pets are welcome in selected rooms — please confirm when booking.
