Glengoyne Distillery stands only a few minutes away from the Kirkhouse Inn. In a land of many fine whisky distilleries, Glengoyne is often described as ‘Scotland’s most beautiful distillery’, and is open all year for guided tours, whisky tastings and special events. No visit is complete without a wander through the glen to the tumbling waterfall or a browse in the superb Glengoyne whisky shop.

Well, our Lounge Bar runs it close and we have the 10, 17 or 21 year old Glengoyne malts to choose from, each with its own, subtle distinctions. An award winning malt, Glengoyne is the product of an unconventional process, remarkable ingredients and the pride and passion of its people. We have many delectable single malt whiskies to choose from, not to mention the refreshing local alternative, drawn from the nearby hills – Campsie Fells bottled water, so good we’ll even serve it neat!
